Full launch, Windows release, and our integration with AI
Today is the biggest release for SERP Lens since our beta announcement. We're introducing a brand new version of the product that is now accessible to all users. Find out about some of our most powerful new features.

SERP Lens has now made a major push for a deep integration of AI into the product, with the introduction of an ‘Ask AI’ button within the desktop app that connects you with the top frontier AI models. It allows you to integrate your favourite MCP, talk to your Search Console data, utilise SEO, or control elements of the app such as connecting to the VPN.
The AI panel
Integrate your favourite MCP
Integrating an external MCP into SERP Lens is simple with our new process integration. Type ‘/’ into the AI panel to bring up skills, then select ‘+ Add MCP’. This then opens the ‘Connections’ settings, where you’re able to add an MCP connection via Local Command or Remote Server.

Access the Search Console API
Our previous release for Search Console made it possible to connect your client accounts with the browser to see a breakdown of data at the ‘page’ or ‘site’ level. This functionality also allowed you to select the ‘Enrich’ button in order to fetch the page and see whether a page is actually indexed.
SERP Lens now has a deeper integration of your Search Console data, allowing you to communicate with it via the new AI Panel. This integration makes the analysis capabilities far-reaching, where you’re able to combine this data with whichever task you are working on. For example, if you’re looking to use the Content Brief Skill, combine this with your Search Console data to see which queries are delivering the most impressions to your page.
Use our SEO skills (or create your own)
Our team has developed an extensive set of SEO skills that can be utilised within the AI Panel. While you’re also able to create your own with our Skills Manager, the skills available to our Pro tier users include:
• Page Audit
• Title & Meta Rewrite
• Content Brief
• Full-page Rewrite
• Content Quality & Refresh
• Content Fact-Checking
• Query-to-Page Mapping
• Internal Linking & Site Structure
• Schema Check
• Rendering Check
• Crawl & Indexability Check
• Search Performance Diagnosis
Select the SEO Skill that is most suitable for your task before running your query to get the best results. We will be expanding and refining our skill set as we gather feedback during our full launch.
Control the VPN, settings, and more
Tools within the application itself can now be controlled by communicating with the AI Panel. Eventually, the control will expand to all primary sections of the application, with the tools to start being the VPN to turn it on while the AI visits pages and search results, along with altering settings such as the language you would like to search in. For example, you could ask the AI Panel to search with the Mexico City VPN on while searching in Spanish.
Start page with discover feed
The application has a new start page which is the default display when opening a new tab. The start page gives you the ability to select whether you would like to search on Google classic search results, within Google AI Mode, on ChatGPT, and even Perplexity, with a toolset within the analysis panel that applies to all surfaces.
The start page also includes access to your latest searches and tabs, which you can easily click to open them again, or discover the latest and best SEO articles of the week. For each section, you’re able to hide them using the widget settings controller. For example, if you are sharing your screen during a meeting, hide the search history section to control privacy. This setting is in line with other capabilities within the app, such as being able to hide your client projects from the left side panel.
Tab hover SEO insights
The new version of the app has many easter eggs that SEOs will find especially useful. For instance, when hovering over a tab for a page in Chrome, all you will see is the title tag and the root domain. Within SERP Lens, hovering over a tab allows you to also see the meta description, the length of the title tag and the meta description, along with information about the page health, indexability, and status code.

Free tier access & Windows support
Visit our pricing page to learn about what is included within the new “free” tier of the application, with the primary difference being access to the new AI Panel. Windows support has also been added, opening up the application to a broader set of users who can now use the application.
Simplified analysis panels
We have made some grouping changes to the analysis panels, so there are now 8 instead of 14 individual tool tabs to choose from. For example, the new ‘Indexability’ tab includes both ‘Indexing’ and ‘Crawling’ information related to a page that are split into two tabs for cleaner grouping.
