Competitor tracking
Add competitor domains to your project and compare keyword rankings against competitors in SERP Lens.
Each project in SERP Lens supports up to 10 competitor domains. When you track keywords, SERP Lens shows where your competitors rank for the same terms — giving you a clear picture of the competitive landscape.
Adding competitors
Open your project
Go to Projects and select the project you want to add competitors to.
Edit project settings
Click the settings icon and find the Competitor domains section.
Add domains
Enter competitor root domains (e.g.
competitor.com). You can add up to 10 competitors per project.Save
Save the project. Competitor rankings appear in your keyword tracking data going forward.
Enter just the root domain — SERP Lens tracks all subdomains automatically. For example,
entering competitor.com also captures rankings for blog.competitor.com and
shop.competitor.com.
Competitor ranking data
Once competitors are configured and you have keywords being tracked, you can see competitor positions for each tracked keyword alongside your own. This is currently shown at the individual position level per keyword.
This data helps you:
- Identify keywords where competitors outrank you
- Track whether you're gaining or losing ground
- Spot opportunities where competitors rank but you don't yet
More aggregated competitor reports are coming soon — including cross-keyword comparisons and competitive landscape views.
